November 26 is Small Business Saturday, a national day to celebrate local businesses and all the amazing things they do in their communities.
According to the U.S. Small Business Administration, small businesses make up nearly 99% of all companies in the U.S. When you shop local, more money stays in your community. A survey by Fundera found that for every $100 spent at a local business, $68 stays within the community. By comparison, when you spend $100 at a national chain store, only $48 stays in your local economy.
At CoverWallet, we believe small businesses are the heart of our communities. In honor of Small Business Saturday, here’s a look at some of the amazing things small business owners are doing, why they started their businesses, and an exclusive discount code you can use on Small Business Saturday.
